Anno Machina

CAST CREDITS

Gabrielle Bosso — Emissary

Gabby has always been a huge fan of sci-fi, so when she read Anno Machina, she knew she needed to audition. This is her first one-person show and she’s been so in love with the process. Since graduating with her Bachelor’s in theater, she’s been searching for a piece like this. She’s had to face new struggles and learn new skills and facts and information. She’s enjoyed every part of working the script, rehearsing, and watching the design unfold from start to finish. This is such an exciting piece and she can’t wait to share the love and hard work of everyone with you.

Grey Davis — Commentator

Grey Davis (they/them) is happy to be supporting Theatre Berk, whose artistic director has been a longtime collaborator with their home company, Torchsong Theatre Company. Grey is a 5-octave bass singer and voice actor. You may have seen them as a neurotic nerd — Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Picture Show or Jamie in the soon to be remounted D&D-inspired Guilds of Manzoa — or a murderous psychopath — Nathan Wallace in Repo! the Genetic Opera and Jack Messer in Torchsong's Ripper: Song of the Knife. Thank you for coming out to local theatre produced by local artists!

Ethan Feider — Nurse

Ethan began acting in elementary school by doing plays at Longview Washington's Columbia Theater with the Missoula Children's Theatre. In middle school, they attended C.A.S.T (Children's After School Theater) for several years until they started going to high school and became a student teacher of the program. Throughout high school, they performed in many productions with the Dana Brown Mainstage Theater and the Kelso High School Theater. After high school, they attended classes at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California, for several months. They later became the House Manager for Stageworks Northwest Theater in Longview, Washington, for two years where they would also frequently participate in performances. Currently, Ethan works with and performs for several Portland, Oregon, based companies including; The Portland Stage Fright Festival, Fuse Theater Ensemble, the American Immersion Theater company, The Chapel Theater, Salt And Sage, and The Imago. They also frequently work with independent film companies including; Drake Dalgleish Films, Dark Fire Productions, Love U Later Productions, and Cold Blood Studios.

Daniel Rhovan — Patient

Daniel Rhovan graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts from Eastern Oregon University in 2015. He has been featured in many films and theatre productions in the Portland area, including the all-puppet horror movie "Frank & Zed," as a core cast member of ongoing live radio show "The Tesla City Stories," and in the revived one-man show "The Illustrated Bradbury."

He currently teaches theater through Northwest Children's Theater & School, and entertains kids with puppetry and superhero costumes through Dragon Theater.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys LARPing and playing D&D. His proudest achievement is learning to clap with one hand.

Daniel credits his friends, family, and teachers for their unwavering support, and would like to thank audiences everywhere for continuing to support creative connections through the performing arts.

Lauren McCune — Aide

Lauren McCune is honored to make her film debut in this fantastic production! You can catch her performing in THE TESLA CITY STORIES, onstage and on its podcast. In her non-performing time, she gets kids to school with joy as a bike bus leader at Abernethy Elementary, raises an amazing 1st grader, agitates for safe streets with BikeBusPDX, and can't resist anything that resembles a sparkly parade on wheels! You can find her on Instagram @lomackelton.

Brendan Jones — Mogul

I am a writer first and foremost, with a boundless love of and feel for pop culture. I am a past finalist in the Austin Film Festival screenwriting competition, a semi-finalist in the Nicholls Fellowship competition, and finalist in the Texas Playwrights Festival. My graphic novel “Breakfast of the Gods” enjoyed quite a bit of internet renown and critical appreciation. For the last several years, I’ve directed, written and acted in a monthly live production recreating 1940s radio called The Tesla City Stories. I have done freelance illustration, sung in a rock band, and hosted a syndicated kiddie show on Houston TV. I’ve done a bit of everything in the creative/performing fields. Yes, I’ve been to paradise, but I’ve never been to me.

Taylor Jean Grady — Streamer

Taylor is a professional actor, content creator, and Portland local who has performed on various Portland area stages since 2015. She is a graduate of The Actors Conservatory’s two year professional actor training program and represented by Harris Talent Agency. She was last seen as far too many characters to list in Penguin Productions’s Upon the King. You can catch her next (in the flesh) as Puck in Shake&Pop’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream running October 3-25th, followed by Lady Macbeth in Experience Theatre Project’s Macbeth opening January 2026 (she hopes you are not reading this program aloud). Virtually, she can be seen at Twitch.tv/Tomasina and on most social media platforms as @itsTomasina. She’d like to thank William for this unique opportunity to merge two of her passions, as well as her Security Chief Odo (red tri Australian shepherd) and Chief Engineer Miles O’Brien (black domestic shorthair).
